This award recognises the Event Manager who has demonstrated exceptional leadership, innovation, and dedication in guiding their in-house event team to success. It highlights their ability to effectively plan, execute, and elevate corporate events over the past 18 months, fostering team collaboration and delivering remarkable results. Eligibility: Open to in-house event managers from corporations and organisations who organised their own events. External event planning companies or agencies may nominate their client's in-house event manager. Self-nominations or third-party nominations are accepted, provided you have their permission to do so.
Entry is by a 5-page A4 PDF submission; the judges will be looking for a clear plan and evidence that it is delivering on core objectives, paying attention to the criteria listed below.
- Career Summary: A summary that describes career to date, and qualifications.
- Leadership: Showcase their leadership qualities, and how they have inspired and developed others.
- Innovation & Creativity: How does the nominee stand out from other corporate event managers? What innovative approaches and creative solutions have they used to make their events extraordinary?
- Event Impact: Describe the impact of their contributions on the success of corporate events held over the last 18 months
- Collaboration and Teamwork: Highlight the nominee's ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, vendors, and partners, fostering strong relationships and maximising resources to achieve event goals.
- Other facts & statements: Include any other statements or facts that support the entry, including a supporting letter from the nominee’s head of department or another senior manager.
