Welcome to the Event Industry Awards
Like you all we are following the best advice available from HSE and Government and applying it to how we meet our commitments to our supporters.
The collective assumption is that the upcoming Easter review and probable future guidance will result in an extension of controls on public gatherings.
Therefore, we have decided to postpone the awards to a time when we believe we can reasonably expect to gather and complete the 2020 awards programme.
How does this affect you?
We are acutely aware that there are bigger challenges for you to consider than this event even though we know, from messages and communications received so far, that the industry is looking forward to the return of more normal times when our community can gather and recognise special achievements embodied in the submissions.
1. If you have already submitted an entry to the awards
If you have already submitted an entry, we will apply your submission to the new event date unless you request otherwise.
2. Haven’t submitted an entry yet?
Once we have secured a new date for the awards, we will open for entries using a timeline that reflects the new event date, so for the time being we will not be accepting submissions. We will be in touch in the near future once a new event date has been secured.
We hope to see you all at the awards on a future date for what is always a great chance to build relationships, make new partnerships and celebrate the industry and its latest achievements.
