This award recognises the in-house events team that most successfully designed and delivered a corporate event focused on building relationships with clients, business partners, or key stakeholders. Eligible events may include client appreciation events, executive briefings, thought leadership gatherings, hospitality programmes, or bespoke client experiences held within the past 12 months. Judges are seeking events that not only fulfilled the strategic brief but also demonstrated creativity, strong execution, meaningful engagement, and measurable business impact. Entry is by a 5-page A4 submission; Please address the key criteria set out below and include any supporting materials, such as photos and videos, within the document. Ensure that any videos are provided in a link format.
- Event Overview: Provide a concise summary of your organisation and the in-house events team. Outline the purpose of the event, its target audience (clients or stakeholders), strategic goals, and how it fits within broader business or relationship-building objectives.
- Creativity and Innovation: Describe how the event stood out in concept and delivery. Share creative formats, experiences, themes, or technologies that elevated the client journey and distinguished your event from traditional corporate gatherings.
- Execution and Delivery: Explain how the event was planned and delivered by your in-house team, including logistics, stakeholder collaboration, timeline management, and how any challenges were overcome to ensure success.
- Client Engagement and Experience: Demonstrate how you created a compelling experience for clients—before, during, and after the event. Highlight methods used to encourage interaction, relationship-building, personalisation, or thought leadership, and explain how these efforts contributed to client satisfaction.
- Outcomes and Business Impact: Present the measurable results achieved. These may include client feedback, new business opportunities generated, follow-up activity, attendee profiles, press coverage, or return on investment (ROI). Use data where possible to validate impact.
- Sustainability and Responsibility: Outline any conscious efforts to deliver the event in a responsible way, such as reducing environmental footprint, choosing sustainable suppliers, or aligning with ESG priorities. Include relevant data or highlights.
