This award is open to corporate business-to-business events of all sizes held within the past 18 months. We are looking for creative events that met and exceeded the brief, that delivered excellent value for money and originality, and garnered positive feedback. Eligibility: Open to in-house event teams from corporations and organisations who organised their own event where the target audience consists of other businesses. This award is not open to external event planning companies or agencies, however they can nominate their client to enter.

Entry is by a 5-page A4 PDF submission; the judges will be looking for a clear plan and evidence that it is delivering on core objectives, paying attention to the criteria listed below.

  • Event Information: Provide a brief overview of the entrant organisation and in-house event team, including the event's purpose, objectives, target audience, and strategic alignment.
  • Innovation and Creativity: Detail unique elements, such as innovative formats or themes, demonstrating originality.
  • Delivery & Execution: Describe the event's execution process, including logistical planning, coordination, and implementation, as well as any special challenges encountered and how they were resolved.
  • Audience Engagement and Satisfaction: Showcase strategies to actively engage attendees and foster positive experiences, resulting in high satisfaction levels.
  • Measurable Outcomes and Impact: Demonstrate the event's effectiveness in achieving objectives and delivering tangible value, and present quantifiable success metrics in your answer, e.g., press coverage received, attendee profile and feedback, return on investment, etc.
  • Sustainable Practices: Outline efforts to improve energy efficiency and reduce the event's carbon footprint, supported by relevant data.
