Best Virtual Conference or Exhibition
If you ran an exceptional virtual conference or exhibition between March 2020 and the entry deadline, then this is the award for you.
Examples of event organisers that should enter: Professional conference organisers, exhibition organisers, event management companies, organisations running in house conferences.
Entry is by a 5 A4 page submission: The judges would like to see hard evidence of the scope of the event with emphasis on any unique aspects that may pertain. Please address the key criteria set out below, backed up by photos (4 minimum), laying out any additional info (e.g. videos etc) in a clear manner.
Event Information: history of the event (is it new or has it been going for several years?), what industry/business sector does it serve, who were the team behind it, were there any special features for the attendees/delegates? Where relevant, provide samples of exhibitors and sponsors.
Budget: Please specify the event budget and any creative uses of same.
Delivery & Execution: Where relevant, describe how exhibitors/delegates/attendees were recruited, how content was created, which platform and other technology did you use and why, any special challenges faced and the resolutions (technical or otherwise), how was the event marketed and promoted.
Achievements & Outcomes: what media coverage was achieved, what was the profile and number of attendees, how many virtual exhibition rooms were sold (if relevant) and what feedback was received from exhibitors / attendees or delegates / sponsors. Include any other important event success metrics, e.g. pre-registration; post-event take-up; audience engagement and satisfaction, social media mentions/engagement etc.
Innovation: Please detail any innovations that you introduced through this project.
Include any other relevant statements or facts which will persuade the judges that this event should win.
